EDUCATIONAL SERVICES



PARENTING PARTNERSHIPS provides support to businesses, schools, colleges, childcare providers, churches and community organizations by offering classes, seminars and workshops at your location. We are also a resource for individual services.

BUSINESS:
By adding Parenting Partnerships, Inc. family educational programs to your employee benefit package, you will boost employee morale, improve productivity and reduce employee downtime caused by outside family issues.

Lunch and Learns are 45 to 50 minute programs supporting businesses in their effort to provide their employees with valuable onsite parenting workshops. Parents get the support they need to balance family and work without having to take away valuable family time.

On-Site Classes are tailored to the needs of your parenting population. We offer four-week classes that focus on child development, brain development, age-appropriate discipline, and family relationships.

On-Site Workshops are interactive life skills formulas delivered in 60 to 90 minutes. We offer a variety of topics and can customize topics to fit your needs.

Seminars are two or more hours of training in challenges such as Time, Stress or Anger Management, Effective Communication, Balancing Family and Work, Conflict Management and Managing Family Finances. Parenting Partnerships can custom design seminars to meet your needs.

Family Coaching is for parents who prefer one-on-one family life education. Unlike counseling or therapy, it is an educational process using uniquely designed curriculum that allows parents to address specific concerns. Coaching is for families that would like to get answers to questions that concern their unique family. This service is available by personal consultation or by telephone, at the client’s convenience, for as long a period as they feel necessary.

Divorce Coaching provides information about decisions that are required when parents divorce. Divorce is a time of tremendous stress, high emotions, grief and uncertainty. These decisions greatly impact your employee’s future, and that of their children. Clients receive information about how to communicate with an attorney in ways that will save money. They will also be provided with information about parenting, counseling and educational resources for them and their children. Mediation is a process that they are almost certain to encounter in the divorce process so they will learn about the types of mediation, the mediator styles, and when it might be most effectively used for their situation.

Pre-Schools and Childcare Providers
Parenting Partnerships provides continuing educational seminars for Childcare Providers. All seminars meet Minimum Standard Requirements for continuing education credits. We can come to your facility and design a seminar to meet the needs of your staff. Call or email Deborah or Susan to get a list of topics or to request a specific topic.

Faith Based Organizations
All of our services are available to religious organizations. Our main focus is to provide positive teaching strategies for adults to help children learn the life skills they will need to succeed academically, emotionally and professionally. We can custom design a program that will meet your community needs.

Colleges
Parenting Partnerships would like the opportunity to work with your parenting students. All of the services listed above can be offered on your college campus in a format that would meet your student’s needs. Our successes have included topic specific Lunch and Learns and once a month open-ended lunch time sessions where parenting students can ask specific questions with regard to parenting challenges.
